Tis the season to be jolly.......

I realise it is a little early, but I might not be free to blog on the 25th of December, so Merry Christmas to everyone! May this be a joyful holiday for all! :)
********'we wish you a merry christmas, we wish you a merry christmas**************
.................................
The new wing at Sunway Pyramid is awesome!!!!!! There's J Co. (awesome donuts), Jusco, Forever 21 (opening soon), Machines, and lots more!!!!!!!! The downside however is that evry single thing has increased in price. I mean take Lollipop for instance. You walk in and you see these beautiful bags you would like to own. You walk to the one that attracts you most, take a look at the price tag and walk straight out of the shop. There is nothing less than 200 ringgit in there!
I bought myself this cute little head band thingy from Sinma.
I think it's really cute. My dad however, says it makes me look like a housewife......... bummer!
There are also movies out now.
And I am sure there will be many more to come.....Oh yeah....Enchanted is another movie.
Oh! I also finished a 1000 piece puzzle in 3 weeks. :D
Happy Holidays!
What happened?
Friday, December 14, 2007 by anusha
OK, first of all, since many people are asking for a picture of me......I decided to put one. :)
So.....HAPPY?! :P
It's so ironic how way before SPM even started, every single form 5 student was busy planning a list of things to do after the exams. Go shopping here, watch a movie there, have a sleepover at your place, and the list goes on. Everyday something new is being added.
When the holidays started everyone started planning when to go here, when to go there. Now, when I ask my friends how their holidays are, I always get the same answer : BORING!!!!!
Another 4 more days!
Monday, December 10, 2007 by anusha
So, I waited 4 days after doing the re bonding for my hair. I washed my hair and couldn't wait to see the results. I was, however, disappointed to find my hair back to its original state. My hair became curly again! Imagine my frustration! So my mum made an appointment with the salon lady. We were hoping she could maybe do a light touch up or something. But no! I had to redo the whole process all over again! And yes, that means that again I cannot tie my hair, push it behind my ears or wash it, and I have to sleep with my hair above my head. If it doesn't work out this time, I'll just except it. Apparently my hair is really really strong! Since it hasn't been exposed to chemicals before, it is not as easy to re bond as the hair of someone who dyes regularly. So that made the whole process really difficult. Hmm....I hope everything turns out fine! :)
New hair!
Saturday, December 1, 2007 by anusha
My curls are gone and have been replaced by straight hair. Haha. That's right, I did rebonding. The 6 1/2 hours were the most tiring hours I have experienced yet. All I did was sit in that chair..occasionally taking a short walk to go wash my hair and then back....but that's about it. And to top it off, my hair, apparently, is stubborn......
The lady doing my hair had a tough time trying to take out the knots in my hair. It was a tad painful. Furthermore, for the next 5 days, I have to make sure my hair does not come into contact with water at all. That means no washing my hair, no proper baths, no washing my face, and no sweating. Oh no! The next 4 days are not going to be very comfortable!
I'll be so so so so so glad when those 4 days are over! :D I hope it will fly like a breeze.. Hehe.

I cleared my table.........
by anusha
My table is now cleared. I can finally see the surface of my table....hehe. I took a full 2 hours to clear it! That's how much clutter there was on my table. This is what my table looked like before I cleared it :
After taking pictures...hehe.....i got down to business. Boy was there a lot to clear. Papers here, books there, TISSUES here, pencils and pens there. AI!!!! I kinda expected that clutter because I basically treated my table like a dump ever since the trials started. I just dumped this here, dumped that there. So yeah. Here's what I accomplished an hour later.....
Not much really...... I was trying to clear my table and at the same time arrange the mess I made. I had to decide on what to throw, what to keep and what to give Roshni. Hehe. So after 2 long hours, here's what my table looked like :
So my clean table is what I decided to keep...... and the rest are to be given away. :D

Last Sunday, I went for my swimming class with my sis.......which I do every Sunday. We were just getting in the pool to start the lesson, and we were hanging on to the wall trying to hold our breath underwater for at least 10 seconds.......and then we saw this boy.....probably not more than 8 years old, swimming past us with his head under water, the he comes up, floats on the water while checking his waterproof watch.......and then he sighs!............HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Evolution Of Dance
Friday, September 14, 2007 by anusha
Last Friday was my school prom night. Too lazy to type about it. Overall, I enjoyed a night out with me friends. The performances were great but the food could have been better.
Anyway, I wanted to share a video with those who read my blog. It's called the evolution of dance. I think many of you might have heard about it. This guy does a 6 minute show of the ways people have been dancing since Elvis. Enjoy! :)

Fireworks
Saturday, September 1, 2007 by anusha
Last night, my family and I went to Putrajaya to watch the fireworks. Last night wasn't the competition but was just a display of fireworks in conjunction with our nation's 50th Independence Day. It was SO NICE! :D I don't only mean the fireworks. Putrajaya itself is a beautiful place. The first thing you see when you look over the horizon is a city of lights. It was a beautiful sight. Then, when you come in to Putrajaya, you see........weird lampposts actually. I think they're showing us the "future Malaysia" or something. So we drove around trying to find the place. We didn't buy tickets and go into the place. Instead we chose a spot somewhere on the streets and laid out a mat to have a picnic.......which is what some other 1000 people did......hehe. It was a beautiful, windy place. The perfect spot for seeing fireworks. We had brought 4 boxes of pizza along. My cousins and aunt and uncle were with us as well. So we all sat on the mat and ate pizzas and did some catching up while waiting for time to pass. We were there quite early.......at about 8pm. The show was only starting at 10pm!
From where we were sitting, we could see the place where those who had bought tickets were having a good time. And, from the picture below, you can estimate how far we were from the place. You will be surprised to know that we could actually hear the music from inside!!!! Imagine how loud it would have been inside!! And then, 10 seconds before 10, we heard the countdown from inside. You could see everyone getting their cameras ready, staring at the sky. It was quite funny actually. Everyone, looking at the sky, waiting for the fireworks.......5
5.....4......3.....2......1! BOOM! OH my! It started on time alright! Hehe.
It was an amazing sight. Fireworks after fireworks! wow! The colours, the patterns! There was one were a few went shooting up to the sky and opened up in the sky to form the shape of a heart. There were so many of it.........one after another after another........amazing.
And then, barely 5 minutes later.......it ended! Just like that! It was probably 2 minutes.......give and take. And then, I realised that it doesn't matter, because bottom-line is I got to spend time with my family :)
Below is a video edited by my dad :)

Being sick......
Friday, August 24, 2007 by anusha
Urgh! It's technically the last day of the holiday and I woke up this morning with a bad sore throat! All I have been doing is.....sleeping! That's the upside of being sick. You get to sleep all day! I woke up at 9, had my breakfast, slept at 10, woke up at 12, had my lunch, took my shower, slept at 2, and woke up at 5. It is currently 5.30 and after posting this blog I will probably go back to sleep until 7, have my dinner, go for tuition, come back and........sleep!
The downside is that sleep isn't that comfortable when your throat is sore, your body is aching and mucus is coming out of your nose 24/7. Yuck! I couldn't sleep that well because everytime I swallowed my saliva my throat would hurt and I would have to grab the tissue and blow my nose. *grumbles* To make things even worse I have to go for the last session of the physics crash course I have been attending, which is from 9.30 am to 4 pm. And on Sunday, I have to go for a 7km run in the morning and swimming in the evening! AI! And I was just starting to think how lucky I was to have not caught the virus that everyone seems to be catching.........and then I caught it..........

Piano exam
Wednesday, August 22, 2007 by anusha
Today, I went for my Grade 7 piano exam at the Grand Bluewave Hotel.
My exam started at 8.50 in the morning! Ai! I had to wake up at 6 because my dad was afraid there might be a traffic jam on the way. Turns out, the jam was in the opposite direction. My teacher told me to be there by 8.15 in the morning. I was there by 7.45! Even my teacher hadn't arrived and I wasn't the first student of the day. So I waited. I started talking about Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows! Haha. Must have been the nerves. My teacher arrived at 8.20. I registered myself and found out I was the second candidate! OH my! At least the examiner wasn't bored yet when I entered.
It was not too bad. He was very friendly. And I managed to play my pieces and scales well despite a few slips here and there. :P I hope the slips weren't that bad! ..........I don't think they were............ Anyways, at least I know that I did my best. And it's over! I can finally relax now. And I don't have to play the same 3 songs that I have been playing over and over again anymore! :D

The Simpsons!
Tuesday, August 14, 2007 by anusha
I have not written in a while as my trials were going on. But now I'm free! :D
The Simpson's Movie is so much better than the TV series. The movie's got more funny parts than silly parts. It was SO FUNNY! HAHAHAHA. I liked the part where the town was getting covered by a dome and the bar people went to the church and the church people went to the bar! Classic. Another funny part was when Homer tried to save his family by putting a "Sop" sign but ended up hitting himself on a "hard place". Surprisingly there were emotional parts to the movie. I suppose it really isn't a movie without an emotional scene!
And just to show how much people really like The Simpsons, there's actually a Simpsons Phone!
See the Simpsons logo on the phone? It's a Samsung phone...........

The Fellowship with the South African Choir
Thursday, July 19, 2007 by anusha
A few weeks back, us choir people had a fellowship with the Conwonnite Youth Choir from South Africa. It was the most wonderful experience I had! My goodness were they good. They sang 4 songs for us......and all 4 songs were nothing less than marvellous! I was simply mesmerised by the way their voices blended splendidly. And needless to say, the songs were all upbeat with no piano in the background. That's how I feel a choir should be. Singing with no music in the background. I think the piano just spoils the whole thing.
The S. African choir even taught us 1 of the songs. It is so different from what we learn here. Much better, in my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed that session. I was hoping we could learn more. I hope there will be more fellowships in the future. And hopefully I'm welcome to join the choir for the fellowship! :)

Happy Birthday To Me! :)
Saturday, June 30, 2007 by anusha
Yesterday (29th of June) was my Sweet Sixteen! It was the most awesome birthday I have ever had! Wow! In the morning, unfortunately for me, I had to go to school. But just before I left, my mum surprised me by giving me a necklace. This necklace is special because it is meant for me and only me! haha. It has some good vibrations to it. And the pendant has 2 stones-1 for my studies and 1 for good luck.....I think. Then she gave me a bracelet which was from my sister. It was made from rose-water crystals! wow! It's supposed to help me with my friendship. :) So sweet of her!
Then in school, I received 2 more necklaces from Su Yi and Carmen. They were beautiful necklaces! I couldn't thank them enough! Now I don't have to shop for jewelry anymore! :)
After school, me and a few friends of mine went to Sunway Pyramid to enjoy! It was so cool. We had a light lunch in KFC, walked around a bit, then went for a movie. Fantastic 4! It was so awesome! I nearly cried at the ending, but thank god I didn't. Hehe. Halfway through the movie, a phone rang just behind me! How irritating. It's like the advertisement. "I tauke mah!" So stupid. Other than that, the movie was great. After the movie, we walked around a bit more. We even tried on a few dresses in MNG! :) It was so cool! Then we took a few pictures, had Baskin Robbins, and left. Short and sweet. We all agreed that we would do this again after SPM. :D
After that, Dad took my sister and I to Uncle Chilli's in PJ Hilton!!!! OMG!!!!!!!! It was so cool! My dad was meeting someone there so it was just me and my sister at the table. I felt like an adult! We both ordered mocktails, which are cocktails without alcohol. it's just a mixture of different juices. Then we ordered 1 "Hilton's Classic" Burger and shared it among ourselves. It was so big! I couldn't even finish half! We took our time eating (hehe) and then when we were done, called for the check. (So cool!) I payed the bill and then went to meet dad. Shortly after that we left.
That was by far the most amazing birthday I have had......yet! :)
wait a minute! There was no cake! :0
my presents! bag included......hehe.
meeeeeeeeeee!
my mum bought me this top! :D

Faith
Saturday, June 23, 2007 by anusha
Just the other day I was watching Oprah and she was telling the audience of the last she went to Africa and one of the girls there told her she was most inspired by this particular episode where they showed Faith. Readers of my blog let me introduce you to Faith:
Surprised???? Faith is a dog who was born with severely deformed front legs. She could only move by dragging herself on the floor. A wonderful family rescued her and trained her to walk on her two back legs. They trained her by a spoonful of peanut butter above her. I sincerely suggest all of you to go to Oprah.com and watch videos of Faith walking. It will just touch you heart! I know mine did. I cried the first time I saw her on TV. :P It truly changed me! :)

Choir........
Sunday, April 15, 2007 by anusha
Today the choir of SMK Seafield performed at the Corus Hotel in KL. We were invied because we achived the highest distinction mark in the Silver Level Trinity Exam last year! *applause* It was so nice! We went in, did a sound check, had a short warm-up and practice session and waited for the ceremony to start. There were also kids receiving awards for achieving the highest distinction mark for vioin, piano, and guitar for both practical and theory. They also have this thing called "Rockschool". This guy performed with an electric guitar. Really nice. There was also this small boy who got distinction in Grade 1 violin. He was so cute on stage! :P And then there was this guy who played the saxophone.
All of them played so well! It was kinda putting pressure on us to do well! We were assured after the performance that it was quite good! :) What a relief! Unfortunately we weren't able to stay for refreshments because the bus driver ecame imatient waiting for us. How inconsiderate! Anyways, the point is we had a good time.....and that's all that matters! :D

THE SCHOOL BURNED DOWN!
Thursday, April 12, 2007 by anusha
.........well, a part of it did anyway. The point is I lived to see the day the school caught fire. Sounds weird, I know. But everyone admits that this has been THE most exciting day in school ever. Seriously.
It all started when the "after-recess-bell" rang. I was talking to K about something at the moment when we realised that there was something different about the bell. Not only was it long, it had this high-pitched sound. B started pretending to be in a panic. It was quite funny. Kelly was like " Flase alarm-lah!" Then we heard it. See, I sort of "predicted" that the day The school actually caught fire, Pn Chong's voice would be heard in the PA system. Sure enough, we could hear her voice : " Semua murid-murid, sila kosongkan bangunan sekolah secepat mungkin." I looked at Kelly, we walked out of class and we saw the smoke. At the corner of Block A, thick black smoke was coming out of the room where the main switch was kept. I was so nervous yet excited! Teachers were running around telling students to evacuate to the hall immediately. The smoke was getting thicker and thicker and the smell was so strong. And my class is 2 blocks away! So the smoke must have been really thick. And since the school hall is a seperate building, it made sense to go there.
Nobody wanted to stay at the hall though, because 10 minutes later the firemen arrived! This is where the excitement begins. I managed to see a fireman "jump-off" the truck, grab the hose and run towards the fire. It was so funny! Kinda like in the cartoons. Everyone was clapping and cheering when the fireman ran into the building. Then i went around finding friends to share experiences. One friend was "jumping" around the school going: Did you see the fire! Did you! DID YOU! Another friend was going around saying: YOU'RE ALIVE! to every friend she saw. Then I met J. She was in the library when the whole scenario started. She thought it was a false alarm too. She was typing stuff in to the computer when a prefect came to tell her to go to the hall. It was kinda important that she finish the work so she was like: OK-lah! Let me at least save this first. When she saw the smoke she was like OMG! I'm just below it. ( the library is just below the area that caught fire)
And then when the firemen came back everyone clapped and cheered again. lol. Then Block C & B classes were asked to line up and go back to class.. Block A students however had to go somewhere else. Where exactly I'm not sure. I just know they were not allowed to go back to their classes. No one is sure what triggered the "fire". There are 3 guesses:
(i) The main switch got overloaded and 'exploded"
(ii)Short-circuit
(iii) Someone who was smoking threw the cigarette there.
Many people ruled out (i) and (ii) 'cause if either happened there wouldn't be any electricity in the school. So that leaves us with (iii). Apparently they have already rounded up a few suspects. There was a last minute spot-check to see if any "evidence" could be found. A few lighters were found......... So now there's an investigation going on. Whoever did it is stupid in my opinion. I'll post a few pictures that were taken on my next post! :)
BBQ
Sunday, April 1, 2007 by anusha
Yesterday was bbq day. Us Jiran Muda's held it. And unfortunately it rained yesterday just as we were about to set up the pit. The rain has "perfect timing". I mean seriously! On days when i want to go jogging it starts to rain! When we wanna set up the bbq pit it rains! Geez! Luckily we were able to have it in da chairperson-of-Jiran Muda's house. It was ok after that. People turned up, so at least the meat was no wasted. later when the rain stopped a few of us when to hang out in the park. It's really nice and lighted up now. Kinda beautiful. :) We managed to grab some meat back. lol.
Our next event will be Dodgeball #2! It was a success before and we're hoping we'll get a good response again thhis year. And since we're experienced in organising it, this time it's gonna be better! hehe. If I'm not mistaken it will be held on the 26th of May, second day of holidays. And then at the end of the year we might have a camp out! :)
Today is April Fool's Day. Probably one of the most boring one I've ever had. It's a Sunday and I'm at home. No tricks. It feels like any other day. It doesn't feel right somehow. April Fool's Day is supposed to be filled with tricks and pranks. I suppose it's more fun in school 'coz there's more to prank. Like you can tell a friend that he/she is in big trouble with the principle or something. Old school, I know. But the reaction on their faces are priceless. Everybody seems to still fall for the old jokes. Weird........

Braces
Saturday, March 10, 2007 by anusha
Yesterday at 4pm....i went to the dentist all jittery and nervous. I was about to get my braces. It was a really cool experience at first. She used this green gooey substance to clean my teeth. A bit of it fell on my tongue and it was the most horrible thing i have ever tasted. It was sour yet bitter all in one. URGH! And then she put this huge plastic thing in my mouth to open my mouth up. Then she used the suction thing to dry up my mouth and then used ultraviolet light. It dried my mouth up so much that my tongue started to hurt! The whole time I just kept hoping that it will be over soon. She stuck the metal brackets on one by one. It took he like about 40 minutes. After that was the fun bit. I got to choose the colour of my braces. I chose blue because that's my favourite colour. Nope, I don't like red, it's kinda to "wild" for me. And pink just reminds me of the panadol syrup i used to get when i had fever in my kiddy days. *shudders* Anyways, the dentist then proceeded by putting the metal wire in between the brackets. Then she put the bands. By the time all this was done, about an hour had passed! The pain did not start until an hour later at home. It was a really gradual process. After about 3 hours only did I really feel the pain. Unfortunately for me, I was at tuition at that time. Fortunately, for my friends, the got a chance to tease me. :P My 's' sound came out as 'sh' and you know the rest. It felt like I had a big bag of cotton in my mouth. I couldn't even close my mouth properly. God! But then the pain was so bad all I wanted to do was sleep! after tuition I had a hot cup of Nesvita and went to sleep. I did wake up a few times coz of the pain. It feels very uncomfortable. I feel like wrenching the whole thing out. I wish I could......*sigh*
The Holidays......
Friday, February 23, 2007 by anusha
What a holiday it's been! Although i didn't exactly do much. I didn't even get to go shopping! :( *sigh* Instead i had a few visits to the dentist, and still will be having visits with the dentist (long story). FIY, I Hate going to the dental clinic. The place just creeps me out! And I had to go there a few times! During the holidays! :( but then I keep reminding myself that it's all for the best. Other than going to the dentist, I don't think i have been anywhere else............so I had the time to catch up on all the episodes of Heroes which I missed, and i actually have the time to use the computer. Lol...... Heroes is a show that creeps me out, I like it! haha.....it's SO addictive though! I don't think I will have time to keep up with the series. Oh dear...I so badly want to know what's going to happen in the end. I think the fact that they show bits and pieces of the next episode is a great idea to attract people to watch the show! That's coz' they always show the climax of the episode and it makes me go : omg! I wonder what happened??!!!! I MUST WATCH IT! hehe.......
THE TEST IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!
Friday, February 9, 2007 by anusha
Well, as you all know, the monthly test is finally over! Yipee! Well, not really, coz' SPM ain't over yet. But at least the tests are over. You know it's ironic to think that everyone, that is everyone in my class, is so hysterical after the monthly test. What's going to happen after SPM????? Will people go wacko? I wonder.......Anyways, good luck to all my friends from other schools who haven't sat for the test yet. And all the best fro those of my dear friends who will be receiving their results! hehe......so I guess it ain't over huh? lol......

First Day Of School
Wednesday, January 3, 2007 by anusha
It feels weird. At one point of time, I used to look up to the standard six kids and think to myself how matured they are. But when I reached standard 6, I dindn't feel matured. Then I came to form 1, and again i thought : the form 5 students sure look mature. Well, here I am, in form 5, not feeling matured AT ALL! I still feel like the kid i was 10 years back. It's weird thinking that in 1 year's time, I will be able to drive!
School was kinda ok.......I don't really like my class teacher. I mean, why her?????!!!! She's the last person I thought would be my class teacher. And yet today, she walked in and announced that she will be our class teacher of the year. So much for hoping for a good-last -year in school. And so it's no surprise that she will be teaching us my weakest subject. AAAAAAAAAARGH! It's so unfair! But then I found out that I have the best Bio teacher teaching us. SO I guess it's not so unfair after all. The other teachers are pretty good as well.....I think. There are 1 or 2 I don't know about. Another thing I disliked was the fact that I have HOMEWORK today. I know, I know, where's the surprise there? But I still hate it. I mean, jsut as you are getting to accept the fact that the holidays are over and that school has begun, the teachers pile a load of homework on your table for you to gape at. Urgh!

1 year gone
Tuesday, January 2, 2007 by anusha
The year 2006 just flew by for me! i mean.....in january i was wondering when the year would come to an end, and now i am wondering where the time went. so many things happened this year. but the biggest thing that happened was the grease musical organised by the choir club of my school....which i happened to involved in. i was only given a minor part, but hey! a minor part is better than no part at all, rite?
Me all dressed up for the show!
There was also the trinity exam we sat for. WE managed to get distinction!! oh yeah! lol. We participated in a competition, and got a special acknowledgement from the judges. We received the "anugerah khas" from the judges. We were kinda confused bout that..
Then there were the exams.......ah, the pressure of it all. This year i will e sitting for my spm! oh boy! School starts tomorrow. I am excited that it's my last year of school (besides the fact that i have to go for college later) but i am not looking forward to the amount of work i will have to put in this year. I keep trying to tell myself that i only i have to do it for 1 more year and it will be over!!!!!! hehehe
Yesterday was new year's day. It's weird how selangor didnt' recognise new years' day. We had a barbecue at my cousins house on new year's eve which lasted to 3 in the morning. It was an awesome night. Loved the food, the dancing, the songs, the gossiping, the everything. It's great to have family gatherings like this coz then we get to catch up a lot.
