Weeeeeee~~~~~~

A day well spent :) I had 5 hours with the best friends ever. We spent 5 hours in Taipan! I know, of all places right? It turned out to be quite fun. All in all, we went to 3 restaurants and 4 boutiques I think. We ate quite a bit! We had coffee and a calzone and a huge bowl of spaghetti and gelato! Ok it doesn't sound like much, but trust me, it felt like a lot! hehe

AHHH....don't it look good :P

I haven't laughed this much in ages! HAHA! The silly conversations and the clumsiness and the ridiculous visions of the future and the gossips and the silly jokes! :D These are the moments I won't forget.

Ikano, Ikea, and the Curve

Wednesday, August 20, 2008

I went to all 3 places today. And I must say, I think Sunway Pyramid is so much better. Honestly, the number of shops was......slightly pathetic. Walked from Ikano to the Curve and back to Ikea. The only thing I enjoyed about this (besides finding this awesome pair of black heels....which I didn't get in the end) was Ikea's food. Oh, the gravy is so freaking awesome. BUT, THERE WAS NO DAIM CAKE! The whole day, all I could think about was, Ahh! I want that Daim cake! And then I got there, took my tray, and saw NO Daim cake. :( Ah well, at least the food was good :D I was so full though! I took a bit too much :P Had difficulty getting up from the chair what more walking all the way back to the Curve. Hahah. After spending the whole day there, we spent solely on food. OH! OH! I also found this :

Green tea ice-cream! As yucky as it sounds, it actually tastes really good. At one time, it was everywhere. I used to see it at almost all herbal shops, but didn't have the guts to try it. One fine day I thought, what the heck, I'm never gonna know until I find out. All of a sudden, none of the shops sell it. Honestly, typical Murphy's Law situation. It's freaking extinct. Right now, to my knowledge, there's one shop in the Curve selling this, and one in Ipoh Parade. Hahah. Kinda sad.

I can't wait till SATURDAY! :D

It's over!

Semester 1 is over! It's the holidays....well, not really. Semester 2 starts in 1 week.....yeap I have holidays for ONE week......It's not fair! It's actually a 2 week holiday, but according to the A-Level's Office, we start one week earlier. WHY??? Oh well, nothing we can do about it now except ENJOY what time we have. Haha.

I just realised how boring the tv is nowadays. It's all reruns! And if it's not a rerun it's a stupid show that doesn't make any sense. I'm not saying that there aren't any good shows on tv, there are, just that they only show it once in a while. And at the wrong times! They always show good programmes late at night! And the internet is equally boring. The only reason I come online is to chat. And to occasionally check my facebook account, or to update my blog.

OH! I found out from Mr Sam that the old building is coming down soon. Which means, there won't be a concourse anymore! NOOOOO!!! i have only been in INTI for 4 months, BUT, in that 4 months, I have spent all my weekday mornings in the concourse area. If they bring it down, where are we going to hang out? AC? Goodness, AC in the morning.....I don't think so! The lobby in the new building.....it's too small, not many tables, not many chairs, so quiet, air-cond in full blast...I guess we could go there if there is really no where else to go. Mr Sam did say, though, that they are trying to propose that the new building should have something like a concourse where all of us students can hang out. I HOPE IT GETS APPROVED!! :D

For a good cause

I recommend everyone to go to this site :

www.freerice.com

This site has 2 purposes :
1. To provide English vocabulary to everyone for free.
2. Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.

How is this done? Simple. You just need to know the synonym to a word given. They will give you a word and 4 choice answers, so all you have to do is click on the right answer. For every right answer you give, you are donating 20 grains of rice. When you think of it that way, it doesn't sound like much. But, if you answer 25 questions correctly, you would have donated 500 grains of rice, which is enough to feed one hungry person.

So, I encourage everyone to go to that site and answer at least 25 questions. Feel free to answer more than that :)

Oh, and please keep the dictionary next to you, the words they give aren't exactly words we use every day.

It's for a good cause people. We're helping those who need it. All it takes is just 10 minutes of your time.
