We made it - Busta Rhymes ft Linkin Park

Together we made it
We made it even though we had our backs
Up against the wall (come on)
Forever we waited (ah hah)
And they told us we were never gonna
Get it all we took it on the road
To the riches (on the road)
To the ghetto (on the road)
In the projects, to this bangin' instrumental (on the road)
Rise with me (on the road)
Come and get it (on the road)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

The chorus had me thinking. I realized that at this point, failure is not an option.......

Failure?

It is not in your nature. From childhood, when you took your first baby steps and fell, but got up and tried again, to conquering your fear of water and swimming a lap across the deep end of the pool, to falling off your bike and skinning your knee.

Temporary setbacks, yes, but you picked yourself up and tried again and again until you succeeded.

And look at you now!

Life itself is exciting and full of promise. In the last six months you have packed in more excitement and learning than you have ever done in the last 16 years of your life.

This phase is a transition from childhood to adulthood. Where you get on the bike of life and cycle as hard as you can to break the sound barrier into a brand new exiting, promising era of your life. Much like a butterfly breaking through it's cocoon. Plenty of aches and bruises to be had here.

You are like a diamond in the rough, that needs to be cut and polished before it can sparkle. The aches, pains, bruises are only temporary, and serve to make you a better, stronger adult.

So here's a quote from one of my favourite bands:

Shine on you crazy diamond!

(Pink Floyd - yep I listen to music other than from the Beatles)

Love always
